Founder and visionary of Kelly's School
Esther Vargas Martínez better known as Mrs. Kelly. Visionary woman and founder of Kelly's School. She has stood out for her charisma, empathy, service and skills as an educator. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialty in English and a Master of Arts in Education. Entrepreneurial woman and lover of educational work who has left indelible marks on children, adolescents, young people and adults in Puerto Rico and globally.
She has stood out as an educator par excellence for 40 years in Luquillo and surrounding towns. She understands that the students at Kelly's School will achieve mastery of excellent academic skills and develop as a responsible human being, full of values, eager to continue lifelong learning, and capable of understanding themselves and the society in which they live. This encourages learning for both the student and the teacher.
Thanks to their efforts, the Institution gained and continues to gain prestige. She was recognized as a distinguished woman on December 13, 2019 at Los Platos Típicos de la Capital de Sol, Luquillo where the activity was dedicated to her. Recently the Hon. Jesús G. Márquez Rodríguez, mayor of the town of Luquillo, in ordinance number 05 recognized the titanic work of the educator Mrs. Kelly calling street number 04 of Brisas del Mar in Luquillo, as Mrs. Kelly Vargas Martínez street. Currently, she continues her work as a kindergarten teacher and educational leader at the Institution.

She was selected in 2007 by Dr. Margarita Velázquez Cosme in the seminar course for the Integration of Knowledge, offered at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico of the Graduate Education Program, where she participated under the Theme: On the way to a transformation in education. During the years 2005 to 2021, she has stood out as a community leader in the organization of educational, recreational and sporting events in Luquillo, Fajardo, Rio Grande, Loíza and Canóvanas.
She has managed the institution, Kelly's School, with optimal efficiency and effectiveness, maximizing the use of available resources and directing efforts toward direct service to students. For 26 years she has worked at Kelly's School as a teacher's assistant, theater teacher, family and consumer education teacher, producer of the Christmas Festival, Music Festival, Friendship Festival, Graduation, Honor Roll, among others. . She currently works as Executive Director of our Institution.

She is part of the Evaluation and Accreditation Committee of the Accreditation Commission of Educational Institutions (CADIE), serving as President or evaluator of the accreditation process in private schools in Puerto Rico.
Always innovating and using strategies according to the needs and interests of the students, in order to improve their academic achievement. She has worked for 24 years at Kelly's School as a teacher's assistant, Kindergarten teacher, resource teacher, cooperating teacher, supervisor of federal programs such as Title 1, Title 2 and Title 3, knowledge facilitator and currently serves as Academic Director in our Institution.
